Every company has two records of its own history.
One is the version it presents, which includes its website, LinkedIn, pitch deck, and press coverage.
The other is the version it is legally required to file with the Registrar of Companies, which entails incorporation details, names of directors, past and present, charges created against assets, changes in ownership, resolutions passed by the board, financial disclosures, etc.
The second version is filed because the law requires it, updated when events require it, and available to anyone who asks for it, which makes it useful. It shows what actually happened, in the order it happened, without needing to sound a certain way.
A Rubix ROC Search Report pulls these records together and organises them into a report you can read before you make a decision involving that company.
It is useful when you are:
→ Evaluating a borrower
→ Onboarding a customer or supplier
→ Entering into a significant contract
→ Assessing a potential investment
→ Conducting due diligence
The records exist either way. The only variable is whether you look at them before you need to.
